One of the most important lessons we learned during our grassroots tenant advocacy was the importance of knowing our community.
What we realized is that as unique and individual as we are as human beings we share most of the same needs and goals in our community. We want livable conditions in our buildings. We want safe streets. We want our youth to have access to quality learning and extracurricular activities they can turn to instead of the streets. It is in these common goals that New York City residents can come together.
There are many areas of improvement in our neighborhood. However, change does not come by standing on the sidelines. Change comes from action, and that action starts with us. If you want to start making a difference in your community but do not know how, let us offer you a couple of starting points. Call us!
